Infinity Scarf 2.

Hello again! Happy Fourth Of July! Hope you all are enjoying this wonderful day of celebrating America (unless you are from out of the country!) We are going to have some nice hamburgers tonight.
Here is the scarf I was telling you about, being modeled by Dad's mannequin. It is The Artfully Simple Infinity Scarf, pattern found here: http://www.mooglyblog.com/artfully-simple-infinity-scarf/ They kid you not, the pattern is simple! This scarf is for my friend Laura. She is really cool, and very stylish, every trendy girl needs the "In" scarf.
I had to take a small hiatus from this scarf, due to getting sick. Somehow, the direction of the stitch got turned the other way, and it ended up facing an arrow like shape! I am so happy that a mistake can turn into beauty. Those are the good parts of life.
Now, for this scarf, you have to chain two hundred and fifteen chains and join it with a slip stitch. I find it impossible to have that many chains and then join it without that chain twisting up! So I found a little hack for that on YouTube, some time ago. You chain your 215 chains, and then single crochet in each chain. Then and only then, do you make that slip stitch to join both sides together.
Used a size K hook and Soft White Super Saver Yarn by Red Heart.
   Hope that helps!

  3. So cute -- you and the scarf! :) I must try making this. And thank you for the tip. I couldn't imagine not twisting a chain that long. I'm glad you're feeling better, too!
