Hope your Summer is going well! It is a nice breezy day here. Back to my full self and doing what I do, some more projects to show you!
First, my Project Linus offering, seven preemie hats. Various sizes. The purple ones were made of Woolco yarn. The yellow ones were Caron. I think Caron yarn is nice because it is very soft. It is a little bit thinner then Red Heart yarn. I've committed preemie hat patterns to memory, so that I can whip them out quickly, sometimes I can do them in less then an hour, depending on how things are going!
Second, a Sashay scarf, knitted. When my Aunt Lois came over, she taught me how to knit these. They look super complicated, but they are really easy to do. She makes them quickly. I would have too, but I wanted to make it last, I was getting sentimental working on my Aunt Lois project, and it was kind of like having her here with me, when she went back home.
Last is a photo of Aunt Lois teaching me to make the scarves in her hotel room. She taught me the ropes, and she is working on a blanket, which you see here. She is really fast, she can make blankets in a week. It was great being able to spend time with her.
So tell me, what is your speediest project? What are you making now? Do you have people in your family that taught you to do cool stuff, and you look up to? Let me know!
What a wonderful aunt you have! And you two are making precious memories together.
