Summertime Sickness.

Happy July everyone! Hope you are in good health and enjoying this beautiful Summertime weather!
I feel bad for not blogging in the last week or so, I've been down with a Cold that I caught from my sister, I am not even mad at her, better to get this cold over with before we stay with our Aunt!
This cold has been on since last Friday, when we came home from dropping Dee off at camp. Came home and promptly threw up in a bag. The thing I like about being a sick teenager is that I care so much about the mess I have to clean, I make sure my trajectory is good!
So this was me all week, in bed or throwing up. I couldn't crochet. Which was pretty crummy. Just watched whatever came on "Antenna TV." Discovered that I like "Three's Company." A lot.
Now, my sister Dee on the other hand, was the model sick person. She just takes it. When she was diagnosed with Type One Diabetes, all she said was "Ok." That's why I look up to my little sister.
Back in business today though, just coughing a little. I have a new scarf on the K hook, an infinity scarf (like the one in one of my last posts) a soft white color, Red Heart. For my friend Laura, who is just the coolest.
So, what is going on with you? What is on your project list?
Special shout out to Audra at "A Path To Create, Not Find" for a mention in one of her latest articles, read it here!

  1. Awww, that's so sweet of you to post a link to my blog. :-)

Throwing up is the worst. I can hardly stand it myself. Sounds like you're starting to feel better, which I'm glad to hear.

I thought of you while watching a "Crochet for Knitters" video. In it Staci demonstrates how to work the Woven Stitch as a dishcloth. Here's the link if you're interested: http://verypink.com/2015/07/01/crochet-for-knitters-woven-stitch/

I just might try crocheting in the coming months! In the meantime, I just finished a headband and am still working on a hat. Can't wait to see your new scarf. :-)

    1. No problem! Yes, feeling better, and thank you! That looks like a real sturdy stitch I may have to try. You really should give it a go! If only for the fact that you only need one needle to make a hat, instead of some DPNS, which look a little intimidating!
