Starfish!!

Once again, so sorry I have not written, July has been a super busy month, plus, I have been back in business again, only coughing now! Things get better all the time. I probably won't write much during the week from July 24th, going to be with my Auntie!
So here is a fun project that I made for two of my little sisters. Starfish amigurumi! This was a real challenge, as I have never attempted to to do these before! All of my things are usually flat pieces or hats!
I found this pattern on Ravelry, it is by Sabrina Boscolo, thank you Sabrina! Here is said pattern: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/starfish-amigurumi
They were easy to make, once you get the hang of it. You fill it up with Polyfil, good stuff. I used Jade and Perfect Pink Red Heart yarn for these projects. Took me a few days to complete, my immune system would not cooperate with me!
If you try this out, let me know, you can give them to kids, or just have them around the house for nautical goodness. Behind the starfish is my Mother's new rolling pin.
It's very nice too.
What projects are you working on? Let me know!

  1. How adorable! And good for you for trying something different. Speaking from a similar experience, it can be scary but also very rewarding. :-)

  2. Very cute! You did an excellent job! I do love pink and green together. Right now, I'm working on the infinity scarf and knitting a squirrel dishcloth.

I hope you get to feeling better. And have a wonderful visit with your Auntie! :)
